This is an initiative of the Commerce department where movies of social relevance are screened to sensitise the student community to burning issues in the society. The slogan of the Club is Watch, Think and Share. After screening of the film, the members discuss and brainstorm on issues related to the film and share their reflections with others. The Club also invites personalities from the field of media to gain better insights into the movie screened. The current members along with the alumni of the Club engage in socially relevant projects.
This is an initiative by the Zoology Department to protect this endangered specie The Club has set up nests with feeders on the campus to attract sparrows to nest and nurture their young ones. Students are also being sent to be trained in sparrow counting.
The Botany department has set up the Nature Club with the objective of sensitizing students towards nature and environment. It organizes activities like tree plantation, Biocomposting, indoor gardening, organic kitchen gardening, creating seed bank, screening films related to flora and fauna, sell eco friendly rakhis and holi colours, nature trails and conduct various competitions.
Masterminds (The Commerce Association), Rendezvous (The BMS Club), Amity ( The BBI Activity Club) All these three clubs are student driven and organize events to hone managerial and organizing skills. The events are very creatively designed and give a platform to students to showcase their talents and also to develop their skills. Marathi Vangmay Mandal- This is an association of the Marathi Department that celebrates Marathi bhasha Divas, Maharashtra Day and Sankranti – Til Gul Sambharam. It also organizes numerous activities to promote love for Marathi literature amongst students.
