NIOS has been providing opportunities for continuing education to those who have missed the opportunities to complete school and college (Junior) education through its Basic Education, Foundation Secondary and Senior Secondary courses.

Our college took up the challenging task of starting NIOS with Secondary course (Xstd) in the year 2001 -2002.

The plus point of the course through NIOS is that it offers plenty of choice in the subjects to suit the student's convenience and interest Also there is no need to take up examination for all the subjects at a time, if one does not wish to do so. The student has an option to complete one or more subjects at a time. One may also opt for the facility of transfer of credits/marks from CBSE, State Open Schools and Punjab State Education Board.

Our college is a centre for Secondary course in English Hindi & Marathi medium. From the academic year 2008-09, our college has also become a centre for Senior Secondary Course.

The admissions for the NIOS Course commence in the month of Julv every year.
