NES Ratnam College of Arts, Science & Commerce was established in the underdeveloped suburb of Mumbai with a mission of social, economic and cultural upliftment of the students largely belonging to economically backward sections of the society by providing quality education. Today after 28 years when we introspect we feel we have accomplished our mission to a great extent as there has been progressive changes in the lives and livings of the families who have supported / are supporting us by admitting their children.

We have gradually widened our horizon to accommodate students even from other strata of the society specially in the specialized semi-professional courses.

The college firmly believes in rounded development of students alongwith academic excellence. All activities, academic and others, are well co-ordinated through a comprehensive Annual Plan. To ensure that activities during a year are not haphazardly arranged, there is an Annual Theme announced every year by the Management

Moreover, to make the students conscientious citizens college announces themes for Monthly Drives.

Acknowledging the role of all stakeholders including parents in enhancing the reputation of the college PTA meetings / Parental Workshops / Open Days are regularly organized.

The college is now working towards its vision.
